Well, I was able to make an attempt last night.
I did it in 14:29 but, I have since been given a 3.5-minute handicap (for being a regular runner)...
My adjusted / official time is now 17:59
My next attempt will be on Thursday nest week.

Well, I managed to improve upon my 3K time from last week. New time = 12:42

This competition is beginning to feel like hard work!

To avoid potential accusations of cheating I had my official timekeeper (Roger Creason) witness my attempt together with two other witnesses (Peter B and Ty).

Well, I'm happy to report that dreams do still come true. I was able to ward of the competition to win the 3K Throttle competition despite being a 54-year-old with a bad back, a syst in my left lower leg, high cholesterol, and a reconstructed right shoulder
